A partner researching one program change can land on five kinds of Microsoft page. Announcements are dated entries on monthly Learn pages, and they record what was true on the day they were posted. Learn articles carry a "Last updated" date, which sometimes differs from the date in the page metadata. Program pages on partner.microsoft.com show no date at all. Blogs and Tech Community posts are dated and rarely revised. Partner Center sits behind a sign-in and shows each partner its own terms.
Older announcements stay up after newer ones on the same topic, and nothing on the older entry points forward. The July 1 entry on Microsoft 365 promotions says E7 promotions "will be live through December 31, 2026" and that E3 and E5 promotions end Sept 30. The Aug 3 entry says E7 promotional offers "retire on October 1, 2026" and that key E3 promotions continue through Dec 31. The July entry has no pointer to the August one. The same happened to request private offer: the July 20 entry says the feature "is disabled by default," while Learn's listing-type page (updated Sept 4) and Microsoft's Oct 20 Marketplace blog say it is enabled by default for eligible new public offers. Existing offers still need the toggle, so the July line remains true for them.
Pages also change without an announcement. When IMS read Microsoft's co-sell requirements page in August, both revenue types ran over a trailing 12 months. The Oct 5 version applies the 12-month window to Azure consumed revenue and asks that the offer have a "cumulative marketplace billed revenue of $100,000 USD." IMS found no announcement of that change.
